How It Works

Understand how AsvaTok transforms rare real-world assets into accessible, tokenized opportunities for every investor.

  1. 1

Assuming as a case example we consider a rare banknote which is extremely unique and is the only known piece in the world. Such a note is aspired by many but is practically impossible for everyone to possess it.

  2. 2

In such a case the best solution is to tokenize the banknote.

  3. 3

As per the market, assuming the approximate rate of that note is say 1 million INR i.e 10 lakh rupees.

  4. 4

Now after the respective KYC process and due diligence the actual banknote will be inspected for authenticity, condition criteria etc. and will be kept under custody. Right now we, the management of AsvaTok Exchange, are only taking the physical custody which will also be insured to minimize the downside risk. Here, all the real world asset token holders (owners) of the asset proportionately incur the fee of asset custody and insurance as per the mark date determined periodically and will reflect the price of the token of the respective underlying asset.

  5. 5

Every participant trading on AsvaTok goes through a KYC process only after which an account is created with unique id and a wallet which has balance in terms of AsvaTok coins used as a medium to make transactions within platform against tokens.

  6. 6

Now this banknote is kept as collateral and tokens will be issued for example 10000 tokens are issued valuing each token for 100 AsvaTok coins (1 ATC = 1 INR).

  7. 7

This ATC amount is issued against the equivalent amount of money i.e an applicant can buy 5000 ATCs (which is the medium to trade on the platform) against 5000 rupees along with some convenience fees or equivalent amount of other currency (dollar, euro etc).

  8. 8

These ATCs are interchangeable with the actual currency with us and always i.e (the participant sells 5000 ATC worth tokens and intends to encash it he can redeem it with us with 5000 rupees and the money will get credited in the participant's bank account deducting certain convenience fees.

  9. 9

The tokens representing fraction of an asset are put up for ITO (Initial Token Offering) for a respective timeframe where the participants can subscribe for the same, post which the tokens are open for real time trading at the market determined price based on under or over-subscription of the ITO.

  10. 10

AsvaTok being extremely transparent will showcase all the needful data of the participants owning significant stake, issuing owner stake and the remaining stake with the real time trade table for bid/ask of the respective tokens.

  11. 11

In case of the 100% ownership of the tokens issued, the asset can be delisted from the exchange and can be physically handed over to the owner applying the ‘DRAG’ rule for the minority token holders if more than 70% worth owners agree to a certain price.

  12. 12

There will be a convenience fee during the ITO, trading process, listing & delisting the asset as well buying ATCs against rupees, dollars etc. and redeeming the actual currency with ATCs.
